    Our back line may not concede many but our attack is where we still need to strengthen as last season we were missing chances to win games.

  2. Ha! They were favourites a year ago too after getting "missing piece in the jigsaw" Lukaku. Finished a whole 19 points behind the winners and 18 behind the runners-up. Chelsea are a good team, but it's time to face up to reality: as far as the league is concerned the gap with City and LFC is huge. They haven't finished above 3rd or even challenged for the title at all since winning it under Conte 5 years ago. The closest they finished to the winners was 19 pts in 2021 and 2022, that's is nowhere near the level required to be champions.

  4. No, don't start this conversation. We said the same thing 12 months ago and we didn't come remotely close.

    We still need to sell a lot of dead weight, buy another CB, and drastically improve our finishing.

  14. Winning the league!? Hahahaha. Definitely not. First of all, serie a is not anywhere near the level of the PL. Second, he’s not as good as Rudiger, no matter what these analysts say. If he was, Madrid would’ve signed Koulibaly and not Rudiger. Third, Koulibaly is very injury prone in the last 2-3 seasons.

  21. The reason his age is not a problem for Chelsea is because they are in a more win now part of the project. He's got at least 2-3 seasons were I won't expect his form to drop and his mind will take over more. And at that price what a steal

  27. United or PSG should’ve bought him last year now it’s Chelsea who’ll have the chance. United especially as they have stacked squad last year but thanks to calamity that is Maguire no one will ever want to partner with him on defense.

    I'm a Liverpool fan, so I'm disappointed that a rival is signing him but he's a top quality signing, and 31 for a CB is almost his Prime.

I mean, other teams signed world class quality strikers, we are prepared to make their strikers inferior before our Defense with Koulibaly and Kimpepe next.   40. As a Liverpool fan, it will take, a bit of time for Koulibaly to be better than Rudiger!! Rudiger … and Mendy were the reason we drew 0-0 with Chelsea in two cup finals! Everyone who knows something about football, knows how almost impossible it is to stop LFC from scoring!!
