  1. Why are these so called experts allowed to keep peddling this rubbish. How are they in any position to predict what will happen? I hope they absolutely implode … however 1 league title in 30 years and they are wanting to keep pushing that he is one of the goats of the league. Nonsense

  2. I know a lot of United fans will be thrilled right now and expect us to become the next banter club … but I fail to see how. The club is in a better position than when Klopp took over, FSG are not the glazers, the won't just hire a manager based on passed, sometiemd ancient success, anyone they hire will be 100% the right fit for the job. Might take a season of getting the players used to a new system, but I don't see how logically we could go the same way az when Fergy left. Fergy left with a team full of aging players, our aging players are Salah, VVD and Allison. The latter could stay fir kany years to come. Salah will probably be sold, but we hsve proven that we can play well without Salah, VVD will be tough to replace but he's not going anywhere yet. Loads of young, hungry players in that team. Whoever they pick will be the right man for the job, I'm not that concerned about it. Klopp will be missed

  3. Klopp stayed long enough to oversee the rebuild which will eventually become Liverpool 2.0 under a new manager.

Without Klopp they'll go through a slight transition adapting to a new manager. I will probably predict they finish 3rd next season. After that I reckon they will either win the league or come 2nd behind Arsenal (assuming City are found guilty) under a new manager.

They will be fine imo, they've got a good enough structure

  4. No it won't be the same as Man Utd We was winning title after title, cup after cup He's won 1 league title in 10 years – same again, talk about Man Utd any chance they get why ? Because there the biggest draw in world football still….

  5. One key difference is the age of the squad. United squad in 2013 was filled with players coming to the end of their careers. Giggs, Scholes were 40 and Rio Ferdinand was 35. On the other hand Liverpool has a very young squad with players in their early to mid twenties. Only 3 key players are over 30. A very different situation.

  6. This will be another Fergie scenario. No one can replace Klopp and the pressure to fill the role will be unimaginable. No manger is going to be able to deal with least so Alonso. I think Alonso appointment would be similar to Moyes and will not be the correct route to take.

  7. 7:15 Klopp has got it so that the ship practically steers itself. Barring injury / fatigue disasters, the next manager could only fail to finish top 2 next season (assuming city haven't been thrown out by then!) by cutting off their nose to spite their face. Very unlikely to happen.

  8. It’s not even remotely comparable to Utd, Ferguson left an ageing squad behind Klopp is leaving a squad he’s rebuilt and is younger than the one he won the league with.

  9. De Zerbi must get this job , no disrespect to Brighton. Xabi coming to Liverpool might not always be the right decision, Solskjaer going back to Manchester United springs to mind
